The Uyo camp of the Super Eagles of Nigeria is gradually swelling as the players report ahead of full training today for Friday’sRussia 2016 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

Super Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye, yesterday confirmed the arrival of China based duo of team captain, John Obi Mikel and Odion Ighalo, goalkeepers Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi, as well as Turkey based duo of Mikel Agu and William Troost Ekong

The Authority gathered that players already in the camp include Captain Mikel John Obi, Odion Ighalo, Daniel Akpeyi, Victor Moses, Ahmed Musa, Wilfred Ndidi, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, William Trooost-Ekong, Mikel Agu and Oghenekaro Etebo and Dele Alampasu.

Ibitoye also assured that the camp will record a full house before today’s evening training, adding that more players have arrived Lagos and Abuja, but will hit the team’s camp early before training hours today.

“The players in Abuja will now fly out to Uyo with the team’s backroom staff this afternoon (Yesterday).

“The camp opens officially today (Monday) in Uyo, and we expect a full house tomorrow {Today}. It’s a crucial game against Cameroon, and the players know the importance of the ticket”, Ibitoye noted.
